About
The Ralston Economic Development Corporation (REDC) is now accepting nominations for Veteran of the Year, an award recognizing an outstanding individual who has honorably served in the United States military and continues to make a positive impact in their community.
Nominees may have served in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Space Force—and during any period of service, past or present. Nominees may be currently serving, retired, or MIA/POW. We also welcome posthumous nominations.
This award honors veterans whose service, leadership, dedication, and contributions—whether through continued service through public service, volunteerism, professional achievement, personal support of others, or community involvement—reflect the values and sacrifice of our nation’s military.
We encourage community members, organizations, and fellow veterans to submit nominations for individuals who exemplify these qualities and deserve recognition.
The Veteran of the Year will be featured in local media/social media and be included in the Independence Day Parade Festivities.
Help us recognize and celebrate a veteran whose service and commitment have made a lasting difference.
