Ralston Economic Development Corporation (REDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to lead economic development initiatives, ensure resource conservation, and create economic opportunities for the residents of Ralston, Nebraska.

REDC serves as the face of economic development within the City of Ralston. We work with the City, financial institutions, local businesses, and community organizations to provide services for businesses, entrepreneurs, and economic development initiatives including:

  • Assistance navigating city permitting and licensing procedures

  • Assistance with site selection

  • Information on TIF and Opportunity Zone benefits for developers

  • Networking opportunities

  • Grant writing, management, and implementation

  • Facilitate the planning and implementation of community events that generate economic activity

The REDC is operated by a volunteer board of directors of 7 members of which 3 represent the City, 2 represent the Ralston Community Foundation, and 2 represent the Ralston business community.

Veteran of the Year 

The Veteran of the Year nomination window will be from April 27 to June 1, 2026. Nominations can be submitted electronically via REDC's website or call 402-331-6677 for assistance. The veteran will be featured on local news and in Ralston's Independence Day festivities. 

5-Point Intesection Updates:

Gazebo in Independence Square is in and Tunes on Town Square is being revived this summer - 3rd Thursdays from May-Sept. from 6-8pm

Veterans Memorial - we are currently raising funds to complete the Eternal Flame Memorial Plaza with seating, flags, and a new eternal flame memorial.

77th Street and Miller Ave. by City Hall will be under construction off and on starting in March. BE AWARE OF CHANGING TRAFFIC PATTERNS. DETOUR, DO NOT GO AGAINST TRAFFIC IF ONE LANE.

City Hall facade updates will be happening between March and May. While the ramp is under construction, individuals with mobility needs may park on the west/Miller Ave. side of City Hall and call (402) 331-6677 for assistance.

Pivot at the Hinge Updates:

Demolition of Hillcrest Landing will start spring 2026.

Granary Apartment Updates:

Construction will start in spring 2026.
